With the need to report to customers and stay competitive through processing information. We have installed Tricorn Management Systems to fully integrate all aspects of the business incorporating bar code technology. From Quotation stage through to Order Processing, Material purchasing, Traceability of Material, Planning, Job Tracking and Times Booked. Finally Release Paperwork and Invoicing.
With most of our business, material is of our own purchase. We have allocated a separate unit as a Bonded Store with a Computerised Goods Receiving and labelling process that will keep the traceability of all our materials.
Production Process
Production Scheduling and Capacity Planning With Tricorn management software we have the ability to manage our production throughout its routing, both in house and during external subcontract operations aided with the use of bar code technology. Management reports allow us to monitor all aspects of the business.
Treatments and Assembly
- A large part of our Order Book Includes Final Treatments.
- We Project Manage all subcontract operations to approved sources through Tricorn to maintain customers delivery requirements.
- For a number of customers we manufacture detail parts which we then assemble.
- Our Assembly Area is well equipped for small to medium size parts.
Quality Control
All machines are issued with a daily 'Work To List' showing Loading Order, and Production Times.
These lists are issued following a Production meeting held with senior management and shop supervisors. This gives us the flexibility to monitor times, adjust the loading to meet delivery dates and feed in urgent or short lead time parts as may be requested by our customers.
With the Quality of our Product being of utmost importance, we have two well equipped Inspection Departments, supported by a Mitutoyo CMM and two Baty Projectors with computerised edge sensing technology, as well as standard manual checking Gauges and Tools. First Article Inspection Reports can be supplied as appropriate.

Production Control
Production meetings are held on a daily basis attended by senior management and shop floor supervisors.
This enables us to monitor delivery requirements, adjust the loading to meet due dates and introduce urgent or short lead time parts as may have been requested by our customers.
